Internal Audit serves as an independent monitoring function which reports to the Chairman of the JT International Group Holding B.V. Board. Through the completion of the annual audit plan, Internal Audit aims to:
- support the Company in mitigating its main strategic, operational, compliance and financial risks,
- contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and controls, and
- identify and share best practices
The role of Internal Audit Data Analytics Manager is to deliver data analytics activities for both “central” and dedicated analytics-driven audit assignments, and to support best practice use of the data analytics solutions across the department. The role also contributes to the continuous improvement of the Internal Audit Department, particularly in the integration of analytics across all facets of the Internal Audit methodology.
In this role, you will also be expected to drive the modernization of our Data Analytics platforms and drive/support the change in our ways of working, shaping the way we perform audits in the future. You will help us to bring our Data Analytics to the next level in our journey towards more data-driven, highly efficient, digital auditing.
The Data Analytics Manager will also act as a ‘translator’ and facilitator between the Internal Audit, business, Data Science and IT teams.
The role involves up to 30% of travelling time.
Qualifications & Experience
Relevant university degree (such as finance, economics, statistics, IT or computer science) is a must. Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a relevant role with a strong working knowledge and hands-on experience of data analytics.
General understanding of business processes, corporate governance, audit principles and standards. Working experience with SAP ECC or S/4 HANA and knowledge of SAP data structures highly beneficial.
Skills, Competencies & Languages
This role requires analytical and critical thinking, curiosity, inquisitive mindset and strong communication skills. The candidate should have a genuine interest in the application of data analytics to improve business performance and add value to the business.
Experience with data preparation and analytics tools (e.g. Dataiku, Alteryx, SQL, SSIS, ACL) and / or data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI). Understanding of key concepts of statistics and exposure to programming languages (R, Python) is a strong plus.
Excellent command of written and spoken English. Other languages are a plus
